Lawson Hut

The Lawson Hut was built and gifted to the Village in 1921 in memory of Parish Warden Mr. William Lawson.  Originally a first world war army hut, it is now a completely refurbished community centrepiece, managed by a hard working group of volunteers.

The Lawson Hut holds a wide range of activities most days of the week and is available to hire on a regular or one-off basis for clubs, groups, children's parties, wedding receptions, meetings, etc.  In addition we have a first class table tennis table for hire by the "session".
